#253 Stories In The Cold, Worth To Be Told

Bismillahirrahmanirrahim.

Winter is coming. ^^

Enam tahun bermastautin di negara empat musim, winter is one of our most-awaited seasons. Tapi dekat Poland tu, tiap-tiap tahun bila winter je, mesti ada berita tentang homeless people yang mati kesejukan.

Winter is a beautiful season, but winter can only be enjoyed when we are feeling warm. I'm thankful that I get to experience the harsh coldness of winter, because it helps me to empathize those who are struggling in the cold.

So, I think I will not be able to sit still and do nothing when I know, at the other side of the world, there are still people freezing out in the cold. If we are able to help, even a little bit, why don't we?

Click for more details.

I'm writing this because I want to help them, tapi jumlah wang yang diperlukan untuk setiap set tu mungkin agak besar untuk dikeluarkan oleh seorang individu. Maka, why not kita kongsi serba sedikit apa yang kita mampu beri, because at the end of the day, bukan jumlah yang Allah lihat tetapi niat dan keikhlasan kita untuk membantu.

Dan jika ada yang mahu bersama saya, kita kongsi sikit2 seberapa yang kita mampu, feel free to contact me and we'll talk from there. (whatsapp/telegram: +60195219250)

#245

Bismillahirrahmanirrahim.

12.52am. My roommate is already sleeping, probably savoring her last night in Poland. I hope she is not disturbed with the sounds of my mouse clicks and my keyboard taps. Well, even if she is, I wouldn't stop writing since I didn't really have the drive to write nowadays. When it gets to me once in a while, I'll keep writing until I feel like stopping.

Looking back, I think our coordinator's speech during the graduation ceremony said it all. I was a mere high school student when I first got here. Going home for good in less than a month, I could say I grew up a little. There are mixed feelings about leaving Poland. I am excited to start a new life, but I am already missing the life I had here.

Poland used to be a foreign land to me. This foreign land has taught me a lot of things that I didn't get to learn before. The six years I spent here is worth a lot more than the 19 years of my life before I came here. I was solely living for worldly gains, but coming home after six years, I am not only bringing my medical degree.

I am going to miss you, Poland. In a foreign land, I got closer to my God. In a foreign land, I became a woman from a girl. In a foreign land, I learnt how to stand back up after falling. In a foreign land, I learnt to see things more subjectively. In a foreign land, I learnt to be a better me. In a foreign land, I found my religion. Religion that used to just be about praying five times daily, in this foreign land, that religion became the whole of me.

These six years changed me. It's like going into a tunnel and coming out of it as a different person.

To the three most important people who walked this journey with me; aren't we proud of ourselves that we are such strong women? Saying this crushes my pride, but I am going to miss having you girls around. There is no guarantee that we will be seeing each other again after this, I wish us all the best of luck. Wherever we will be, whatever we will be doing, may Allah bless us all. You girls are beautiful people who deserve whatever the world has to offer, so let's not just be satisfied yet, let's achieve more.

To my fellow classmates and batchmates; congratulations for finally crossing the finish line though this is really just the beginning. The beginning to a more exciting journey. Let's be great doctors because we are all meant for great things. We are the chosen ones, so let's not give up when we feel like doing so and just hold it for one more day. Everyday, let's hold it for one more day.

Credit as stated in the picture

To my juniors; it is hard to say goodbye but still, goodbye. Some of you have became a part of me I would never want to let go. I am so used to your presence that I'd need time to get used to your absence. Goodbyes are sad and hard, but it isn't that hard this time because I know we will see each other again. Till then, good luck and I hope you live your life doing things you will not regret.

Some of them, though many others are in my memories instead of pictures.

To my Polish sisters; you girls are a bonus given to me by God. A gift I never asked for, but eventually became a beautiful memory that I am grateful for. I pray that God blesses you with strength to practice islam as a minority. Well, you girls initially are already strong women. Let's meet again, whenever He permits. Till then, I'd like you to know that I am glad we met.

#234 the other side of me

In the name of Allah The Most Gracious and The Most Merciful.

I am supposed to go to Norway today. With Fadh, Pidah and Yuyu.

(like my feeling. empty.)

But what are my plans compared to His?
***

Have I ever introduced you to my housemates of five years here?

Thohirah. Or we call her Yuyu. When we were in MSU, I had an impression that she is soft and nice. A polite Malay girl who talks nicely and smiles all the time. Turned out I was wrong. She is still nice, but she is actually this bubbly girl who sometimes makes lame jokes which you can't help but laugh uncontrollably at. She is this girl who is good at masking her emotions, and even when she's upset, she'll stay quiet and never brings it up. She brought the Ganu slang into our home and now we no longer speak in one dialect, we mix all of the dialects in one go.

Afidah. Or she likes people calling her Pidah. She believes that she's a lost princess of a kingdom and one day people will acknowledge her princess quality. *rolling eyes jap* See what she is here? A girl with a princess complex. Haha. She used to be very sensitive, and because of that she cares about people's feelings more than anyone. Despite everything, I see her as next to perfect and even though she doesn't acknowledge that, I know it's because she doesn't see herself in my point of view. She's responsible for our Kelate slang, though her family says she's not good in that dialect either. Eheh.

Fadhlina. Or Fadh. If you are to live with her, you need to get used to two things. One, listening to the same stories more than twice. Two, her weird and sometimes annoying attitude. What can I say? She's weird. Why? No one can objectively interpret what weird is. Let's just say she does things normal people don't usually do. But she is one organized person, thanks to her parents' genes. She doesn't like to lose in arguments but when she needs to be a listener and adviser, she listens and advises well. She taught us the Nogori slang though I think I'd never be able to speak in that slang. @.@

***

That's a short introduction about my housemates. We all have flaws. The reason we are still friends today after knowing each other's flaws is we overlook those for the qualities we have within.

Thank you for keeping up with me; my moodswings, my cravings, my laziness and the list goes on and on. You girls are awesome and I am grateful to be one of the abandoned four in Lodz because of you. Lol. Exaggerating.

I pray that this friendship, or ukhwah, or bond, or whatever you call it will last forever. Forever as in, not only when we are alive, but until we are alive again in the other eternal world. I am in this with them. I become who I am today because I have them to support me, to talk to me, to stop me and to encourage me. We are in this together, as a doctor-to-be and a full-time daie. I can't imagine a day not having them close by. I can't imagine a day going through this path of life without holding their hands. I don't ever want to imagine it, nor do I want it to happen.

Allah, ya muqallibal qulub, tsabbit qulubana 'ala dinik.

post script 1: Being left behind is painful enough. And now it's being left behind while feeling under the weather. I hate this.
post script 2: why is this entry called the other side of me? a tribute to the late sidney sheldon's novel. eheh. and they are the other side of me. they are my reflections, and I am them.

#232

In the name of Allah, The Most Gracious and The Most Merciful.

When we were in first year, Kak Syifaa once said something that sounds like this.

"Kita masuk first year sama-sama. Beli barang sama-sama. Masak sama-sama, study sama-sama, kelas pun sama, ambik exam sama-sama, nanti balik Malaysia masa summer pun sama-sama. But during the next five years, each of us will go through different paths of life. Walaupun sama-sama study medic, tapi akan ada masa some will fail and some pass. Some terpaksa balik Poland awal for retake, some don't. Some might even flunk their year, kena repeat year, while some will excel."

Well, I didn't remember her exact words, it was 100% my words, but the meaning was kinda similar. Today I was reminded of it.

A few people reminded me of it. A few people that are going on sorta war tomorrow. Something that'll determine their future in a way, somehow. Even if it doesn't, it's a war that somehow will affect what they think about themselves, their self-esteem.

Untuk yang di Warsaw dan di Krakow.

Semoga Allah memudahkan urusan kalian. I feel bad. I can only pray for you, when I don't even know whether Allah hears my prayers or not. But there's a saying, "prayer isn't our last weapon, it's our main weapon."

I'll pray that Allah listens to every of your prayers. Because right now, your prayers are much more precious than mine. Because right now, what happens to you all are much more important that what happens to me.

If we have enough faith, He will guide us through this. There is no such thing as giving up. Losers are those sperms who lost their battle to the one sperm that made us today. We were winners since those moments we couldn't even recall. :)

Dan tak ada benda dalam dunia that could go wrong. It just happens in a way that is not to our desires, but Allah's. Have enough faith to trust in every of His moves and plans, okay? We know, apa yang pernah berlaku, sedang dan akan berlaku adalah yang terbaik. Sejauh mana we actually believe in that to put it into actions?

I will stop ranting. But I hope people know that I dedicate this random writings to a few people that held a very special place in me. Those people who somehow made a part of me, and I am not going to be as proud of myself as I am today if I didn't meet them.

All the best for tomorrow, and for the future. Don't let anything define you, but you and your faith. ^_^

Saya menangis, kerana pemergiannya membuka mata saya.

Terima kasih akh Iman.

Saya mahu diri saya diingatkan jika saya lupa.

Semoga kita mampu saling mencintai kerana Allah. Semoga setiap perbuatan kita, dilakukan semata-mata kerana Allah.

post script: laju mode blogging. kenapa? sebab exam hari rabu. escapisme is sweeeeet. eheh.

#223 - The Power of..

Dengan nama Allah yang Maha Pemurah dan Maha Mengasihani.

Do not underestimate the power of doa. Doa bukan senjata terakhir umat islam. Bukan bila dah usaha dah tak tahu nak buat apa baru nak berdoa. Doa itu senjata utama kita. Sepanjang masa. Sampai bila-bila. Bercakaplah dengan Allah, Narshiela Saad. Itu lebih baik dari bercakap sorang-sorang. Kan?

Do not underestimate the power of doa.

post script 1: Jazakumullah khairan katheera atas doa. :) Bacalah entry ni banyak-banyak kali. Hehe.

#207 Hari Besar Mereka.

Ehem. Ehem.

Dengan nama Allah, Tuhan yang Maha Pemurah dan Maha Mengasihani.
Assalamualaikum wbt.

Fuhh, it's been...about 2 months and 2 weeks since last post.

I wish I was there in LCCT. Cehh. Jauh berfikir. Namun, ameen.

Meet my retarded bestfriend forever, fillah. Sayang banyak2 la dekat hg. For living up to my wavelength (haha). For all the arguments and the emotional days. For being you and accepting me the way I am. For being just as retarded. And for choosing medic so that I have someone to refer to in future.

Cewahh. More like, pilihan ibu yang akhirnya menjadi pilihan hati. Hehe. Style sangatlah bertemu jodoh macam ni. Orang yang bercinta dan kemudian berkahwin ni too mainstream, ye tak? And we are so not mainstream, aren't we? Eheh.

#205 Happy Birthday Abang!

Dengan nama Allah yang Maha Pemurah dan Maha Mengasihani.

Happy birthday abang. :)

Abang dah 25 tahun. Kalau dengar cerita Pak masa balik cuti hari tu, umur 21 Pak dah ada rumah dan tanah sendiri. Abang E umur 22 tahun dah kahwin. Sultan Muhammad al-Fatih pulak menakluk Constantinople masa umur 21 tahun.

His greatest treasure is the four of us. He loves us in his own way, the way that made us believe that he didn't care a thing about us.

Amin.

P.s 2: *sigh sigh sigh* desktop penuh balik. =.=

#197-Losing isn't as bad as it sounds

My mother passed away when I was 11. 10 years passed. I got over it. I moved on. It was one of the saddest moments of my life, but I was able to live through it. But somehow, when one of my cousins passed away a week ago, Abang tweeted this.

I always knew, that time is the crucial factor, we will be healed by the fear and sorrow of losing someone dear when time goes by. A few months after Mak passed away, I used to miss her a lot. I'd look at her pictures, hugging it to sleep while crying. And even today, I still missed her. There were times when I talked to myself, thinking how good it would be if Mak is still here. How different will I become if she is just a phone call away.

How time has really matured me. I no longer cry whenever I missed her now, instead a smile will always accompany me. She's gone. She'll never be back into the world. But there will be this one day, when I'll go meet her there. I'll go to her place and God's willing, I'll be reunited with her and everyone else there. It isn't something to cry about, but it is something to work on.

To whoever out there, who has already experienced the loss of someone so dear to you, one way or another we will have to move on. No matter how many deaths we've experienced, we will never get used to it. We will still cry, still feel sad. It's normal to stop for a while, but then be brave to say goodbye and move on. We will meet them eventually. We will definitely meet them again.

They, who leave, can't do anything but wait..but we, who are left and still alive, we have absolute control on how we want the grand reunion with them to look like. Whether we want it to be in hell, or the opposite side of hell, we are still able to work on it.

Allah won't give you anything that is going to be a burden to you. As long as you have faith in His words, in His plans..you'll definitely see how beautiful your life is. A life which is perfect beyond its own imperfections.

No. I don't wish things to be different. I don't wish for Mak to still be alive. I wonder how life will be if she's alive, but she doesn't and I'd prefer it to be this way. Whatever happened in the past, was His most beautiful plan for me to be me. Allah, I wasn't a good Muslim, but You planned things perfectly, and I found You within myself. Let us lose the entire world even, if He's still inside us, it's as if we already own the universe.

Losing isn't as bad as it sounds. :) We have each other, right? Each of us was blessed to experience something like this which turned out to be our strength. To Abang. To Wani. To Nad. To Asiah. To everyone out there who know what loss means. It isn't really a loss, is it? We actually gained something others do not have the privilege to hold onto. :)

#183 - Muse.

In the name of Allah, The Most Gracious and The Most Merciful.

Let's see. It's December 14th today, exactly at 2:35am right now. I am supposed to be studying for my pathophysiology test this coming Thursday and yet, here I am. Rambling. Nak buat macam mana, studying Diabetes up to its molecular basis is so not as interesting as blogging, so I'm saying. ^^

Well, since the mood is here, I am thinking of responding to this question.

-by muse. (refer to the chatbox at the right side of this blog ---->)

First of all, I am aware of my status, that I am not alim enough (alim, as in berpengetahuan) to answer this question in a more solid and precise way. But still, I can go surf the internet looking for kitab ke tafsir ke apa, and I am pretty sure I'll find some sources that will give me an answer to this. But right at this very moment, I feel like answering this question using my own opinion. Hmm, more like sharing my own opinion rather than answering to this question kot. :D Please note that this entry is solely my opinion, and my opinion only. I do not refer to any kitab, articles or anything else except tafsir al-Quran for the verses. And so, this can be true and not be true, depending on the way people see it.

Anyway, the first time I read what Muse wrote, one verse from the Quran came across my mind.

Sedangkan Allah, tanpa memerangi sekalipun Allah mampu memberi kemenangan.

Allah mampu saja memelihara agama-Nya tanpa kita.

I never really answer question correctly, sebab I keep on going out of the track. Forgive me for that, especially to Muse. But still, what I feel like sharing, I think I've said them all. What cause NIDDM? I'd better go back to my beloved Diabetic slides. ^_^ Salam sayang semua ^^

Oh anyway, rasa nak dengar Unintended by Muse. Lama tak layan.

#168-Shaqirah dan Nadirah

Dengan nama Allah Tuhan yang Maha Pemurah dan Maha Mengasihani.

Ini surat kasih saya untuk sahabat2 tersayang. Shaqirah especially, untuk Nadirah juga, and Harumi as well (though I know she won't read this, and even if she does she won't understand a thing).

Masalah bukan sesuatu yang mampu kita elak. Masalah is a significant thing in life. It's a must. It's necessary. Kadang2 Allah bagi masalah untuk bantu kita untuk come out better and stronger. No matter what the reasons are, semua orang ada masalah.

Dan kerana uniknya kita sebagai makhluk bernama manusia, walau kita sedar sepenuhnya bahawa Allah hanya memberi kita dugaan berdasarkan kemampuan kita, kadang2 kita masih perlu sokongan seorang manusia bernama sahabat. Sahabat bukan yang berkuasa menyelesaikan masalah, tapi keberadaan seorang sahabat di sisi, walaupun tak mampu membantu, masih menjadi sesuatu yg sangat kita hargai. Sahabat boleh tolong mendengar. Menasihati mana yg patut. Mengingatkan mana yg lupa. Sahabat juga boleh tolong mendoakan.

Untuk Kirah dan Nad, it must be tough for you guys right now. To be frank, aku pun tengah berhadapan dgn situasi yg sama. Tapi we can stay strong together kan? Paling penting, Allah is always with you guys. It's amazing on how sometimes He shows to us that He's there. Whatever happened, it's because He wanted it to be that way. Sesibuk mana sekali pun Dia, perhatian Dia terhadap kita sedikit pun tak pernah terabai.

Menangis. Menangislah selagi mampu. Tears is not a proof that you are weak. Tears is a way to show that you are indeed a human after all, yg ada masanya rasa sedih dan memerlukan sokongan seseorang. Untuk aku yg tak suka meluahkan pada mereka bernama manusia, I'll spend time talking like a crazy lady to my teddy bears or even to myself. Luahkan dengan kata2! Even tak ada orang nak menyahut balik, tapi seriously it was a great therapy sebenarnya. Hehe.

Emo. Semua perempuan emo. Hehe. Dan bila emo, perempuan suka buat keputusan tanpa fikir panjang. Aku pun mcm tu. Pastu emo lagi sebab menyesal kan lepas tu. ^^ Kalau aku emo, aku menangis. He sure likes us to talk to Him. ^^ Oh, mengingatkan aku pada Hadith 19 dari Hadith 40 Imam Nawawi. Check it out. ^^

Hm, I'll talk again later. Ada kelas Hygiene and Epidemiology right now. First class as a third year student for me. Applause for me to have survived until my third year. Hehe.

Sayang sayang sayang korang!

Birthdays Summary

Formspring's question of the day!

My answer will be: I have been procrastinating for almost 4 months to wish Happy Birthday to those who mean so much in my life.

So, this will be a brief summary, devoted to only those few people. I am not sure they will be reading this or not, but this is the least that I can do to show how much they actually mean in my life.

ALYAA LIYANA IDRIS - 12th March 2011

Happy 21st birthday sweetheart. It's been more than 4 months I know. And I might look like a loser right now, wishing you only after months. But, let's just say, I wanted to thank you. Thank you for being there for me when I felt so lonely. You offered me a friendship on the day where I was left alone without even a familiar face. You mean a great deal to me Alyaa. I love you. And I can't wait to see you.

SITI NURSYAZWANI YUSOP - 20th March 2011

Sayang, were you hurt? Were you sad when I didn't wish your birthday? You were, right? Uhm, not here. I'll make another post only for you on our blog ^^

NADIRAH HASANAH OSMAN - 30th March 2011

Another friend for life of mine. Happy 21st birthday my sweet Nad!! ^^ I am so so so so happy that I found you in my life! You are truly a special friend, a one of a kind..and if I lose you, I will never find one like you again. You have no idea on how much you mean to me. :) But I'm so glad that you are there, for me, and for everyone else. I love you! I really do.

AS ELEYANA ALI - 16th April 2011

As, selamat hari ulangtahun yg ke-21. Perasan tak yg aku tak wish pun birthday dekat hg dulu? Hehe. I didn't forget. Serius. I just didn't wanna wish. Thanks, sebab bersahabat dengan aku. Even after years, still lagi in touch dengan hg. Thanks. And now, you are a better blogger than myself. Thanks to me. Hahaha! Sayang gila dekat hg. Bila dengan hg, aku susah nak jadi jiwang2, nak berkongsi rasa dengan hg pasal benda2 jiwang segala ni. Tapi, friends are not just for that kan? Aku selesa bersahabat dgn hg. Mudah-mudahan Allah perkenankan. Aminn ^^ Thanks for being there. Serius sayang gila gila ah dekat hg. Uhm, mintak maaf jugak. Maybe aku terlalu banyak mengasingkan diri, tak selalu contact hg semua..tapi aku sayang hg the same. Hehe. Sampai bila2, dengan izin Allah.

You are 21 now. ^^ Kita sama2 usaha utk membesar jadi individu muslim yg sejati, eh? Yg berkehendakkan Allah, berniatkan kerana Allah, bekerja untuk Allah.. I love you dear :) Oh, any request for your birthday present? Hee.

ADIBAH HANIS ZAINUDIN - 24th April 2011

Dibaaaa!!! Did I spell your father's name right? Teehee. I missed you. And so, happy 21st birthday to you. I'm glad that I came to know you. And I am so missing the old times right now. Those days when we used to laugh together. Those days when we used to fall asleep together. Those days when we used to pick on your clumsiness together. Those days when we eat keropok cicah sos together. I am so glad I was a part of E1313, with you being in it. I love you ^^

NUR SHAQIRAH MAT ISA - 20th May 2011

Lama tak nampak, awak! ^^ Lama blog menyepi. Hg kata hg akan tunggu sampai aku wish kan, here it goes. Happy belated 21st birthday Kirah. This past one year, things had been a bit harsh for our friendship. Dan bukan tu yg aku nak cakap. Tak nak lagi ungkit pasal benda2 tak best. Those are histories. And here is the present. After years, our friendship is still here. Dan aku harap aku mampu pertahankan friendship ni for more years to come. There will always be waves and tides. But no matter what, this friendship is not something that can get destroyed easily by those. :)

Sayang hg. Serius. Aku selalu akan doakan untuk kebahagiaan and kejayaan hg dunia akhirat. Dah beli ke handbag? Hehe.Kata nak tunjuk kat aku kalau dah beli. Mana??

SITI NOORUL ASIAH HASAN - 01st June 2011

Rasa tak kena kalau tiba2 nak speaking dgn Asiah. Haha. Weh, happy birthday eh! Asiah dah 21. Hoho. Dah matured eh sekarang? Rajin betul blogging skrg ni, bagus2. Hehe. Oh, I missed you too. Harap2 boleh jumpa hg bila aku balik cuti nanti. Semoga dipermudahkan. Asiah! Thanks for everything eh. Ingat lagi tak dulu kita selalu gayut time cuti? Rindu betul zaman tu. Nak bersembang panjang2, nak dengar hg gelak, nak berebut Jiroup dgn hg. I love you lalink~ Muah muah muah!! XD

VALENTINA HOZIT - 07th June 2011

She might not be reading this, since she is on a three-months vacation right now. But still, happy 18th birthday to you, Chimp. Penguin loves you so so so much you have no idea on how much exactly. Thanks for being a friend to me. Thanks for opening up to me, making me feel appreciated. Thanks for using my name in your English exam, you dont know how much it meant to me. She's Romanian ^^

In the name of Allah, my Only God, The Most Gracious and The Most Merciful.
It's 16th March 2011- 8.30pm in Poland, 3.30am in Malaysia, and 9.30pm in Romania.

First of all, if Subaili happens to read this, this is the Romania I wanna talk about. More precisely, SHE is the Romanian I wanna talk about. ^^ I knew it took me quite a while to update about this, but it's finally here. And, sorry for my imperfect English, but I was requested to write in English for this particular post.

I shall say, she is the closest European friend I've ever had. She is Valentina Hozit, born in June 1993, which made her three years younger than myself. I've never met her; in real life. The only medium we use to talk to each other is through Internet.

Two things that never made me feel like I was talking to someone younger whenever I talked to her:
  • She's pretty. She believes that she looks creepy. But everyone knows that she's pretty. And her pretty face doesn't make her look like a childish 17-year-old. She looks older. And in fact, she is way taller than myself. -sigh-
  • She's matured. The way she talks, the way she writes, the way she thinks..she was definitely born in the wrong year. XD Sometimes, she is even more matured than myself (myself=who was claimed to be matured, not in action but in the way I think)
And what's so special about her that I made a special post just for her?

>>Valentina, you are special in every way. And as a sister and a friend, I respect you.

She is a Christian and I am a Muslim. And she's the first Christian friend whom I can talk freely about my religion. She understands, and she respects my opinions. She's not those kind of people whom easily assume things, she kindly asks for things she was confused about. This, is one of the most important characteristics in you, that made me so attached to you up until now.

Valentina Hozit (no matter what, nothing beats your real name and I love it ^^),

I'm glad that I was given the opportunity to get to know someone like you. Thank you for being there for me. Thank you for listening to me. Thank you for opening up to me. Thank you for making me feel appreciated. Thank you for everything. I'd love to stay as your friend for years to come. Penguin loves you, Chimp ^^
"Ya Allah, You have planted the feeling of love in my heart towards her. And I know, there is no greater love than Your love. If this love is going to bring me further away from You, please help me to come back to the right path. If not, I ask for strength and patience to let her understand the beauty of You as the Only God and Islam as the only true religion."

..Ameen..

Kejamnya Saya.

Dengan nama Allah yang Maha Pemurah dan Maha Mengasihani.
06 Februari 2011, 03 Rabiulawwal 1432, 0705.

Aku nak tunggu tiga2 jadi belated dulu baru aku nak wish. Hehe.

Norazimah Aalamuddin; 29 Januari 1990-

Handphone aku rosak. Huhu. Semua gambar yg kita ambik masa aku pergi UKM hari tu semua takde. Sedih. =( Jimah, selamat hari ulang tahun kelahiran yg ke-21 ye. Aku bersyukur Allah bukak pintu hati ko untuk masuk JENAN even time tu ko dah start pun sekolah kat Semenyih. Aku bersyukur dapat mengenali seorang manusia yg suka layan aku bercerita, yang sama minat dgn aku, yg satu kepala dgn aku. Aku bersyukur dapat kenal Jimah yg baik. Hehe. Ketahuilah, aku sayang ko sangat sangat sangat, dan aku mahu persahabatan ni kekal sampai syurga, dengan izin Allah. Jimah, i love you. ^^

Nurul Azhani M. Ahkar Nawawi; 30 Januari 1990

Siapa kata akrabnya sesuatu persahabatan tu, bergantung kepada berapa lama kita mengenali sahabat kita? Sapa kata??? Aku tak kata tau, sebab kalau ada orang kata macam tu kat aku, aku akan tunjukkan persahabatan aku dgn ko sebagai bukti. Usia persahabatan kita baru setahun jagung kan Az, tapi aku rasa kita macam dah lama kenal. Selamat hari ulang tahun ke-21 sayang..Azhani, jazakillah sbb sabar layan kerenah aku selama setahun kita jadi roomate. Haha. Jazakillah sbb tak pernah langsung2 berkira dgn aku. Jazakillah utk.....apa ntah org panggil selendang yg ko bg tu?? Hehe. Cukup la dulu setakat ni, insyaAllah, panjang umur, Allah permudahkan, kita ada lebih kurang 2 minggu utk catch up nanti. Tak sabar!!! Nak jumpa ko, nak peluk ko sampai ko jerit2!! NAK JUMPA JIMMY!!!!!

Allah mencipta manusia yg punya sikap yg berbeza, namun aku bersyukur pada Allah sebab mengurniakan aku seorang sahabat yg banyak persamaan dgn aku. At least, kalau aku emo, aku boleh put the blame on you, "Alah Zatil lagi emo." Kalau aku nangis, aku boleh cakap, "Alah Zatil lagi kuat nangis." Hehe. Bff tersayang, selamat hari ulang tahun kelahiran yg ke-21. Mintak maaf sebab aku tak selalu cakap, tapi aku sayang hg sangat sangat! Ingat SSS?? ^^ Sayang sampai syurga. Janji? Be strong, ok? At least sekali, tolong la berlagak macam kakak aku. Haha.

I don't start loving to stop halfway. I don't start missing to forget after that. I don't start caring if I don't give a damn. I don't hold on if I plan to let go. Once I hooked myself into the world of beautiful friendship with you guys, I planned to go through it all-come hell or high water-to make it to the very end.

World changes, people change, so are our hearts. But I promise you one thing, with Allah's will, I will treasure this Allah-based relationship to the very end. If one day, Allah plants the feeling of hatred towards you guys..if one day, Allah plants the feeling of boredom towards you guys..if one day, Allah makes me lose contact with you guys..I promise you guys I will give my all so that we will meet again, we could love and be friends again..if not here in the world, then hereafter.

Turning Point Untuk Saya, Birthday Wish Untuk Dia

Something is going to happen, cuma aku belum tahu Allah tentukan arah perjalanan aku ni ke utara atau selatan, bahkan mungkin barat ataupun timur.

InsyaAllah. Pagi2 ni liat sikit otak nak jalan, mata pun dah macam batu belah batu bertangkup. Tunggu masa je nak tertutup. Tapi tidur subuh2 ni orang kata rezeki mahal (walaupun dah berhari-hari jugak la aku sengaja belagak kaya nak rezeki mahal).

Ouh, Mashi! Aku ingat dah nak wish semalam, tapi sebab semalam malas nak menulis so aku postpone kejap. Nak wish dekat Facebook dah aku tergedik deactivate FB kejap. Huhu. Selamat menjangkau usia 20 ye, exactly sebulan sehari lepas aku lahir!

Even aku and Nada terkerat sikit, aku upload jugak sebab ko kata ko suka gambar ni.

Thanks Mashi, belanja Secret Recipe. Thanks Nada, belanja laksa. Thanks korang, mahu keluar dgn aku in short notice.

Budak montel pelahap!

Maaaaaanje!!

Selamat Hari Lahir Amirah Samat! Miss you!

Sekian dulu ye.

There Were Times....

In the name of Allah, The Most Gracious and The Most Merciful.
Thursday, 23rd September 2010, 14 Shawal 1431, 1807.

There were times when you feel like you need nobody but your mother. There were times when you feel exactly like that. There were times when you would feel soothed listening to your mother just calling out your name. There were times when you would feel at ease just by saying 'emak'. There were times when even a father's child will feel like going to her mother.

And I am living in such time.

If only she's here. I would get irritated more than being happy I guess. I won't be appreciating her the way I appreciate her now. I won't be missing her this way. I won't cry so hard nowadays whenever I was reminded of her. I might live a life asking "Why does my mom can't be like everybody else's mom?"

No matter how, I am missing her. Her soothing smile, her warm hug, her typical-of-a-mother advices, her I-know-everything-because-I'm-a-mother attitude, her stupid giggles watching Hindustan movies every Saturday evening, her yelling whenever her children did things she didn't approve of.

There were times when you'll feel better in the presence of a mother-like woman. Your friends' mothers, your grandmothers, your aunts, even your friends with motherly attitude. But there were times when you just need the presence of your mother. And there were things a 20-year-old girl would only want to share with her mother.

I am living in such time.

Harith Haikal Part III

Dengan nama Allah yang Maha Pemurah Lagi Maha Mengasihani.
31 Julai 2010, 19 Shaaban 1431, pukul 8:38am waktu Malaysia.

You are so gonna get a kick if i meet you la. Selamat jauh. Cakap orang, awak pun sama! Haha.

Rasanya dah habis jugak. Dah tiga post jugak bertajuk Harith Haikal, and this one i'm definitely gonna talk about him. Borink la kalau lama2 tajuk sama. Hehe.

Harith Haikal is one of the many patients I met when I was doing my practical in the peadiatr
ics ward. Harith Haikal is one of the many yg buat saya banyak refleks balik diri saya. He was about 1 year 4 months when he was admitted due to pneumonia and bronchitis. He has beautiful eyelashes, which reminded me of Auni at home. And I could say he is somehow different from other sick kids.

Auni and her beautiful eyelashes. Nampak ke eh kat gambar ni?

He was born prematured, and the doctor said that his chance of survival was only about 50/50. Tapi Allah masih mahu Harith Haikal hargai dunia, Allah panjangkan umur dia sampai sekarang. His parents are the working type, and he lives with his nanny almost all the time. Even during his staying period in the hospital, not even once his parents came to visit him because they were busy. I was told that his father was in an outstation at Genting Highland at that time.

I seldom saw him crying. The only time he cried out loud was whenever he was given the nebulizer. Compared to some other kids who'll just cry on the sight of doctors and nurses, he'll instead smile. Compared to some other kids who'll refuse treatment, he'll accept whatever he was given. Compared to some other kids who are afraid with strangers, he regards them as people he already knew. And even seminggu sebelum tu, I worked a lot with babies kat O&G, tapi Harith Haikal adalah kanak2 pertama kat Hospital Yan yg I got the courage utk dukung. Yatta!!!!!!

That's why he left quite a deep impression in me. He is clever. And I pray that you'll lead a happy and healthy life. Okay, nak search for aplastic anemia nih. Is it just me or my posts are actually getting boring?? Haha. I wrote what I want to, so not a big deal even if it was boring. Daa~
